WE CONTINUE TO SERVE
What Scott & Grey and Richard F Mackay is doing to protect our clients from COVID-19
Whilst our showrooms are all closed to the public, we are continuing to fulfil outstanding customer orders in these incredibly difficult times.
We understand that some people may not see a kitchen as an essential item but please spare a thought for those that have nowhere to cook, nowhere to store food, no sink and no tap. Below are some of the rooms we delivered to last week.
Confirm the following
If you are looking to place a new order or receive a current order that is already with Richard F Mackay or Scott & Grey, then please can you review the following:
- No one in your home is currently experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
- Is anyone in your home currently self-isolating?
- Do you live in sheltered or vunerable housing? Is there delivery restrictions?
- Anything else that may impact your delivery?
Every day the full delivery team are temperature checked as soon as they arrive at work. Anyone found with a temperature will be sent home to self-isolate. The trucks are fully sanitised twice a day. The team have access to anti-bacterial hand gel and use regularly. Gloves, masks and shoe covers are also available for the delivery team. If the team arrive for delivery and feel that they are not safe to deliver they have the right to refuse the delivery. Likewise if you feel concerned about taking in your delivery please contacts us. We ask that no one is in the room when the delivery is being made. You will have 24 hours to notify us of any challenges with your delivery. You will not be asked to sign for the goods but you will be asked for your full name to log who has taken in the delivery.
The public health authorities have advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting COVIS-19. It is understood that these types of viruses don’t survive long on objects such as letters or parcels. If you take the option for goods to be left at your front door we ask that someone is fit and able enough to be able to carry the goods in to your home and you have appropriate access if goods are built up. This will also be weather dependent. If the goods are left in the packaging you will have to dispose of the packaging yourself and we will not be able to return to collect the packaging.
1 - Goods left on the curbside
2 - Goods left in a safe place
3 - Goods left at front door
4 - Full delivery service in a clear room
If you have goods for uplift please make sure you have advised us of this. We will only take away like for like goods. Unfortunately, at present all goods will have to be disposed of and we will not be able to donate to charity.
Whilst we have tried to cover anything if you have any queries do not hesitate to contact us on 0131 313 3300.
Thank you for cooperation with delivering your goods and know you will love them for many years to come
